Project Management

At Coram Clinical Trials, every project is unique and handled with the utmost attention to detail. Our quality of service, responsiveness, and ability to meet and exceed deadlines are what often set us apart from the competition.

Coram Clinical Trials believes vigilant project management is the key to a study's success. We assign project managers who have experience in clinical and late-stage research. The project manager is responsible for the technical and administrative aspects of the study as defined by the protocol.

Clinical Supply Management

Coram Clinical Trials provides complete management of medical and pharmaceutical supplies through our network of more than 85 corporate-owned pharmacies throughout the country.

Drug Storage and Distribution

Drugs can be dispensed directly from one of our pharmacies to the investigator's site, subject’s home, or sent with the visiting nurse. This process ensures that drug supply accommodates enrollment without incurring waste of study drug.

Our services include the following:

  • Inventory and distribution tracking, and monitoring
  • Sourcing and purchase of comparator products
  • Placebo product development
  • Drug accountability and destruction

Medical Supplies

We will work with the sponsor and investigator site to assure all standard nursing and research supplies are made available for each visit. Coram Clinical Trials can directly take responsibility to provide all necessary supplies or we will work with the medical supply vendor of choice as specified by the study sponsor.

Lab Sample Collection

As ordered by the investigator, Coram Clinical Trial nurses will collect blood samples for analysis by the central laboratory. Coram Clinical Trials will supply portable centrifuge units if specified by the protocol. Additionally, we will provide all ancillary supplies needed for home blood draws and will arrange for the removal of medical waste created by the study.
